Product Overview
On a transmission tower every structural connection carries a share of the line tension, so the SLU range is engineered to hold that load without play. These U-shaped couplings cover working ratings from 10KN up to 320KN and are used to splice tower members, fix crossarms and hang insulator strings. Forged alloy steel with machined contact faces spreads the force evenly across the joint, and a hot dip galvanized finish keeps the hardware sound for decades of tower-top duty.
