Produced by Suntech Power Tools, a Ningbo-based manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience in power transmission line stringing equipment, this anti-twisting pilot wire rope is braided from 1,960 MPa high-strength galvanized steel wire and supplied in 12-strand and 18-strand constructions from 9 mm to 42 mm diameter.
Product Overview
The pilot wire rope is designed for mechanical pulling and tensioning of conductors on overhead transmission lines. Unlike a conventional wire rope, the braided anti-twisting construction resists rotation under load, keeping the pilot line stable and helping to prevent conductor damage during stringing.
