Its synthetic UHMWPE fiber core is sheathed for electrical insulation, making it a safe and efficient replacement for conventional steel pilot ropes.
Product Overview
Dynema (UHMWPE) is the lightest and highest-strength high-performance fiber available. With the same diameter, this braided rope delivers comparable strength to a steel wire rope at less than one-seventh of its weight, so handling is faster and easier on site. The insulated sheath also makes it the ideal choice for live-line working and cable crossing applications where conductivity must be avoided.
