The Suntech QY-60Y hydraulic traction machine is a transmission-line stringing puller built to haul conductor and wire rope under steady, controlled tension. It delivers a 60KN maximum pull force and 50KN continuous force, with an automatic wire rope winding device that keeps the drum dressed and the pull running without manual re-spooling.

How the QY-60Y Performs
A 77KW diesel engine drives a closed hydraulic circuit that applies smooth, adjustable tension to the conductor or wire rope. The grooved drum (Φ460mm, 7 grooves) grips steel rope up to Φ18mm and lets connectors up to Φ60mm pass through, while the automatic winding device lays rope evenly to prevent overlap and chafing. Pulling speed reaches 5km/h through the full force range.
