The Suntech SA-YZ2x40B is a hydraulic tension machine for overhead line stringing, holding conductors under infinitely variable, constant tension during the pull. It delivers 2×40KN on twin conductors or 1×80KN on a single conductor, making it a flexible unit for distribution and transmission work.

A 51KW diesel engine powers a closed hydraulic circuit that applies smooth, adjustable tension to the conductor. Key design points include:
